виртуальное перемещение точки
Любое допускаемое наложенными связями элементарное перемещение материальной точки из положения, занимаемого ею в данный момент времени, выражаемое изохронной вариацией радиус-вектора этой точки.
Примечание. Данное определение относится к случаю голономных связей. Если на материальную точку, кроме голономной связи, уравнение которой имеет вид
f (x, y, z, t) = 0,
наложена и неголономная связь, уравнение которой имеет вид
Aẋ + Bẏ + Cż + D = 0,
где x, y, z — координаты точки; ẋ, ẏ, ż — их производные по времени; t — время; А, В, С, D — функции х, у, z и t, то проекции возможного перемещения точки на координатные оси, т. е. вариации δх, δy, δz координат точки, должны удовлетворять равенствам
